Aromas of toast, hazelnut, blackberry, and mocha from this Malbec jump out of the glass.  You will notice the smooth, silky body of the wine is followed by flavors of S’mores, brown sugar, and black cherry.  Drink it with pork, steak fajitas, or get adventurous while camping and pair with your marshmallow and chocolate delight.

This wine spends extra time on the skins (10 months), which develops unique flavors and aromas.  On the nose, you will find cherry, spices, wildflower honey, and plum.  The red fruit flavors and structured tannins allows this wine to pair well with grilled meats.  Enjoy!

Our top of the class rosé has dried strawberry charactrer that is nicely combined with aromas of rose petals, jasmine, as well as hibiscus and ruby red grapefruit.  Ripe raspberry, strawberry-kiwi peaches and cream, and grapefruit, come together to give  the perception of sweetness. Picnics, flowers blooming, and the crisp fresh air are the perfect setting to pair with this wonderful Rosé.

This oak Chardonnay was made from the excellent fruit that was harvested and donated to the YVC students from Austin Sharp Vineyard, in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA.  Aromas of cinnamon bark, caramelized sugar, yellow peach, piña colada, and green apple skin help this wine achieve great heights, like our upcoming graduates.  The tropical fruit and oak combine elegantly with flavors of toasted coconut, almond and vanilla; all leading up to a sweet cream and buttery finish.

This off-dry wine, our Hats Off Pinot Blanc, exhibits lush aromas of jasmine, marzipan, and ripe nectarine. Juicy flavors like lemon drop and summer apricot pair perfectly with grilled scallops or Thai curry dishes. Its crowd-pleasing nature also makes this an ideal celebration wine, perfect for sharing on a special occasion such as a birthday or a graduation, take your hats off and enjoy.

Just as our students weear many hats throughout their time here and beyond, Pinot Blanc is a highly versatile grape that is featured in many white blends.  Itsaromas of specid pear, lilies and citrus blossom are spotlighted in this dry wine with flavors of kumquat and granny smith apple.  With a lighter body and highter acidity than our Hats Off Pinot Blanc, this wine's crisp finish lends itself nicely to a pairing with risottto or barbecue pork.

Non-Newtonian fluids are oddities of physics that shift between solid and liquid state based on the application of direct force. Viognier is known for delicate aromas and subtle flavors, ranging from citrus to floral to tropical, based on terroir. Showcasing classic varietal characteristics, this wine also seems to shift under scrutiny: from jasmine, honeydew melon, and white peach in the front palate, to honeysuckle, apricot, and mango in the final sips. This wine is perfect to drink on a summer day.  Its aromas of mango, orange blossoms, and cider apples. This wine will take you to a relaxing place similar to lounging at the beach with the blissful feeling of the sun and fresh air. The wine has nectarine and honedew flavors, with a zexty finish that will have you wanting more.  Ceviche or sushi would be the perfect pairing.

This stainless-steel fermented Chardonnay has the aromas of tree and citrus fruit.  Fresh flavors of green apple, melon and guava meet your palate and deliver a crisp and dry finish.  Cheese and meat charcuterie, or a shrimp or chicken dish would complement the flavors of the terroir.
